by photographer Jan Van Pak...invites one into its community of sculptures. Each sculpture speaks of the degrees of openness we have in different relationships. Standing individually each is also a part of the whole. This community that is self-enclosed within the bamboo and screens is simultaneously exposed to the surrounding environment. It is the play between internal nature and external nurture.
